Personal information we may collect

“Personal information” in this Privacy Statement means information about an identifiable individual, as further defined in Canadian privacy laws. Examples of personal information that we may collect, use and disclose include your contact information (name, address, phone number, email address), your billing information (credit card number or banking information), purchase history, and other information that you may provide to us (such as date of birth and social insurance number which may be needed in connection with the purchase and fulfilment of certain of our products and services). Personal information does not include your name, business title, business address, and business telephone number in your capacity as an employee of an organization.

When participating in a contest or promotion, we may collect personal information, such as a contest winner’s name, city of residence, and prize winnings in order to award prizes and promote such contests. This information may be published in connection with contests.

We will not disclose, trade, rent, sell or otherwise transfer personal information for purposes other than as those set our herein, except with your consent or as required or permitted by law.

We use reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal information is as accurate, complete and up-to-date as necessary for the purposes for which such information was collected. However, you are responsible for advising us of any change in your contact information or other information necessary for us perform our obligations to you.

Retaining and safeguarding personal information

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and as permitted or required by law. Typically, we will retain information only so long as necessary for Company and you to perform their obligations to one another, to comply with our obligations under applicable law, or for Company’s business or legal purposes. We have implemented physical, organizational, contractual and technological security measures to help protect your personal information from loss or theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

Cookies and website usage information

Our website may place and access cookies when you visit the website. A cookie is a small data file that websites commonly write to your computer. A cookie file contains information that can identify you each time you visit the website. This website uses cookies as a way to measure activity and traffic patterns on the website. We may use third-party vendors and advertising networks to serve advertisements on our websites. Accessing to your personal information

You may contact our Customer Support Manager in writing by email or mail to access to your personal information or to request modification or correction of inaccuracies in your personal information. To confirm your identity, we may ask you to provide additional personal information such as your name and contact information and the contract number of any contract you have with Company for the supply of a product or service. We will attempt to respond to your written request within thirty (30) days. We will advise you in writing if we cannot meet your request or access within this time limit.

You may contact our Chief Privacy Officer in writing with any complaints you may have regarding your personal information. Within a reasonable time upon receiving the written complaint, we will conduct an investigation, respond to the complaint and take any measures that may be appropriate to address the complaint.

Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

At Lendful, we take your data seriously. In compliance with Facebook’s data deletion policies, available at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/development/create-an-app/app-dashboard/data-deletion-callback, you can request that your Facebook data be deleted by sending a simple email from the email address associated with your Facebook account with the following details:

  1. Send the email to “[email protected]
  2. Set the subject as: “Delete my Facebook data”
  3. Set the email body as: “Please delete my Facebook data associated with the LendFast application.”

Our support team will delete your Facebook data in compliance with Facebook’s requirements within 5 business days.
